The Mug Club Shop Steward:
The Mug Club Member with the highest number of visits(4) at the end of the year will be named Shop Steward and have their name (or their nickname) emblazoned on a plaque for all to marvel at. In addition to this notoriety, they will be privileged to nominate a new Mug Club Member
of their choice to one of the available mugs before the Great Mug Auction of 2008.
Mug Club Union President:
The Mug Club Member with the highest dollar sales at the end of the year will be named
Union President and will have their name (or nickname) emblazoned on a plaque for all to marvel at.
In addition to this notoriety, they will be privileged to have at their disposal:
The Union President’s Mug. A special “extra” mug to offer to their ‘significant other’
drinking buddy while the President is here.
Union Members:
The top 10 Union members (highest sales) will receive a $50 gift card the day of the 2009 Mug Club Auction, as reimbursement for their Mug Club renewal.
The Union Members will be called to an annual meeting at the end of the year to announce the winners of the Shop Steward and the Union President. The President and Shop Steward will organize the group and vote on the reorganization of the Mug Club for the following year. The Union members will decide (5) the number of mugs that will be auctioned off at the Great Mug Auction of 2009. The decided number of mugs will be taken from the current membership roles (they will not be permitted to renew) and put back up for auction. The Union members will determine whether this shall be based on lowest sales dollars, lowest number of visits, or a combination thereof. There may be additional Union member votes as well. (i.e.: Union Members may vote on the design of the 2009 mug design, whether to transfer “frequent diners” to the Mug Club, etc.)
