Before Fegley’s Allentown Brew Works came to 812 W Hamilton, the building sat vacant for almost a dozen years deteriorating to an almost irreparable condition. The Fegley family saw opportunity where others did not, and knew that the heartbeat of the city was destined to pulse strongly once again. In 2007 the property opened its doors with new life and vision. The main floor, with soaring industrial ceilings and exposed ductwork, has as the centerpiece attraction an illuminated bar designed by Bonsall Shafferman Architects. Its soft, lemon-yellow glow radiates a warm presence throughout the main floor, where a diverse mixture of seating can accommodate 140 patrons. You may choose to dine in the runway next to the massive polished steel serving tanks, by the floor-to-ceiling windows looking out across to the PPL Plaza, or be close to the action at the bar at one of our high-top tables.
