Amber hued Imperial Pumpkin Ale brewed with real pumpkin and pale, Munich, and caramel malts.

Ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and allspice are flawlessly combined with the subtle taste of pumpkin for the most deviously enticing Autumn brew.

Style

Imperial Pumpkin Ale – A fall seasonal that ups the abv to 9% from a standard Pumpkin Ale. Imperial Pumpkin Ales are still typically mild, with a malty backbone that is balanced by the additional alcohol. The spice takes a lead, but is not overwhelming to the natural pumpkin that’s used in the brew.

Reviews

Deep copper color. Aromas of savory spiced pumpkin seeds with a chewy, fruity-yet-dry medium-full body and a rich spicy pumpkin bread, blood orange marmalade, golden beet, and pink peppercorn finish. Vibrant, rich and balanced. (tasted on Sep-20-2011) Beverage Tasting Institute

Can you buy any of your beers by the case from distributors?

  • Tim Conway

Even better than Tender Nipple’s Pumpkin Bonanza!

  • Conway Tm

It blew my balls off my leg!

  • Arm42599

i want a keg of this for real!n

  • Reynoldsjohn424

I wanna dip my balls in it!!!!

  • Skipopeye36

Is there any distributor around the Philadelphia region that still has a case left?  This is one of my all-time favorite beers and only have a 6-pack left to last me till next year.

  • Nancy

Wow, this is one of the smoothest, nicest pumpkin ales ever. Packs a punch, but it fully delivers on taste?

  • Nancy

No question mark at the end – it delivers!!!!

  • ds

When is this going to be available in the Pittsburgh area?????

  • Bud

Why did u change from a six pack to a four pack? Not happy about that!

  • kikassdaddy

Just opened my first bottle and I have to say this is one of the most deviously delicious pumpkin brews I have had the pleasure of consuming. Fegley’s has just been added to my short list of brewers that get it right. You have made this devil supremely ecstatic.

  • Rich Fegley

Our regular Pumpkin Ale was sold in six packs. Our Imperial beers are packaged in 4-packs; Hop’solutely, Insidious and Devious.

THis is my absolute favorite pumpkins, hands down!! I have tried many, and none come close to this beauty. I buy a case or two every year and always save my last two until my birthday in April when Im craving it again. It’s that serious.

  • Allen Schmidt

By far my favorite pumpkin brew, but only in the large pint bottles. I had a small regular size bottle of Devious and it was noticeably different and not the pumpkin beer I have come to love drinking. Is there a difference in production of the small versus the larger bottles (other than the carbonation in the larger bottles)?

  • Beerman

Hi Allen, the 25oz corked and caged bottles are bottle conditioned (they can also be cellared and aged!) – yes, you may detect a slight difference between the two. Cheers!

  • Leanna

I tried this beer while in Pittsburgh and fell in love. I grabbed some for home in southeastern virginia but not enough. Any chance you’ll be expanding your shipping range? This beer has ruined all other pumpkin beers for me.

Thanks Leanna, happy to hear it! Yes, we are looking to expand our distribution in the future. We’ll keep ya posted.

  • Tim Price

This stuff is currently kicking my butt. Best pumpkin beer I’ve ever encountered
