Come join us at the Brew Works on the Green for an Ugly Sweater Party (and fundraiser) to benefit The Kelly Ann Rooney Memorial Foundation.
On Saturday, March 13th, at 7pm we need your help to nominate the Inaugural King and Queen of the Ugly Sweater Party at the Allentown Municipal Golf Course!
Everyone who comes gets one vote, and additional votes can be ‘bought’ from the charity as part of a 50/50 raffle to benefit the foundation.
In addition, the Brew Works will be donating 10% of all food sales from this event to the Foundation.
But wait – everyone is a winner – if you come in your UGLIEST sweater, your first drink (flagship beer; house wine; well drink) is on us AND you still have a chance to win the title of King or Queen of the Ugly Sweater Contest and a prize for being such a good sport!
And even if you don’t have an ugly sweater (yeah, right), come cast your vote, support a good cause and enjoy $8 Pig Pen Pilsner pitchers and $3 Bud Light 16 oz.
Brew Works on the Green 3400 Tilghman Street (just west of Cedar Crest).

The Host and Producer of Tickle Me Tuesdays is gonna’ get roasted!
Plus it’s for (another) good cause– the proceeds from ‘The Roast of Ryan Hill’ to go to fight Parkinson’s Disease!
Here’s the Scoop:
The Bethlehem-based professional stand-up comic Ryan Hill, the host and producer of the popular Tickle Me Tuesdays stand-up comedy show at the Allentown Brew Works, will be roasted by his peers on Sunday, March 14th at 8pm in the Allentown Brew Works’ High Gravity Lounge. A $5 minimum donation will be taken at the door, and all proceeds will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
A ‘roast’ is an event in which an individual is subjected to a public presentation of comedic insults, praise, outlandish true and untrue stories and heartwarming tributes. It is seen as a great honor to be roasted, as the individual is surrounded by friends, fans, and well-wishers, who can receive some of the same treatment as well during the course of the evening.
The host of the event – a.k.a. The ‘roastmaster’ – is Steven Bost, the host of Steel Trap Trivia at the Bethlehem Brew Works and a stand-up comic who started out on the Tickle Me Tuesday stage. “Ryan was the one who got me into stand-up comedy,” says Bost, “and now he has to pay for that.”
The other comics who will help to roast Hill include Breinigsville-based professional Randy Tonge, a regular at Tickle Me Tuesdays, Adam Nystrom, Dan Shelly, Gary Snyder, Kate Hayes, Matt Folger, Shawn McDougall and Sarah Morawczynski, all of which local stand-up comics who got their start at Tickle Me Tuesdays, and Joshua Neth, who runs the Associated Mess improv comedy troupe with Hill.
The Allentown Brew Works is located at 812 Hamilton Street in Allentown’s Renaissance Square. Advance tickets are not available for this show, but reservations can be made by calling the Brew Works at 610.433.7777. Free parking is available on all surrounding streets, including Hamilton, 8th and 9th, anytime after 6pm. There is also a free parking lot available off of 8th Street between Hamilton and Linden Streets; the entrance to the Brew Works is less than 50 yards from that lot.

Every Thursday, 5:00pm at Bethlehem Brew Works. Once-a-month, that evening’s 100% of the firkin sales are donated to a local charity.
WHAT is a firkin ale? A firkin is a small keg, holds about 9 gallons or so of cask-conditioned, 50°F beer.
WHY a firkin ale? If you love beer then this is your chance to experience drinking a real ale! Open up your senses to the hop and malt flavors released by drinking a beer from a hand-drawn firkin served at a respectable temperature. Our brewers then work their magic to give each cask its own special character.
