Fegley’s and Rodale – A Partnership in Composting
A culinary event to benefit the Rodale Institute! Fegley’s Brew Works is proud to celebrate the growing partnership with the amazing folks at Rodale – the organic pioneers since 1947!
They’ll also be short talk by brewer Josh Bushey, and another by Brew Works co-owner and founder, Rich Fegley. Josh will talk about our beer and brewery and answer questions, and Rich will discuss the composting program we have established with the Institute.

Guests will proceed to the Barn via wagon rides provided by Rodale (Parking at the Barn or the Schoolhouse)
Cocktail Hour in the Tree Grove – 6:00pm
Welcome Beer – Steelgaarden Wit, (O.G. 1.052, 5.2% ABV)
This unfiltered Belgian style wheat beer is brewed with special yeast producing a refreshing flavor and texture. Brewed with Chamomile, Curacao Orange Peel and Coriander to create a smooth citrus finish.

Fegley’s Saison, brewed with real raspberries and formulated to rocket around your palate with a 21st Century complexity in flavor and aroma: Hints of Lemon and Pepper orbit around a Raspberry tartness to guarantee a successful flight
Salad – Arugula and Dandelion sprouts with fresh Strawberries, Goat Cheese, Walnut and Raspberry Vinaigrette
Brewer Josh Bushey – on Fegley’s Beer and Brewery 
Our brewer Josh will give a brief talk about the Brew Works brewery and will answer any questions you may have.

Fegley’s Beer – Always Sunny, (1.52 O.G. 5.3% ABV)
A West Coast Pale Ale with a solid hop Bitterness – it has a distinctive piney and grapefruit flavor, and just a touch of malt presence to balance the flavors out
Hop’solutely Triple I.P.A., (1.100 O.G., 100 IBU, 11.5% ABV)
A heavenly, heavily hopped triple IPA packed with Pacific Northwest hops. This brew has a “Hop’solutely” intoxicating citrus aroma followed by a smooth malt backbone. Brewed with two-row pale and caramel malts, ludicrously hopped with Cascade, CTZ, Summit, Amarillo and Chinook Hops, then dry hopped with loads more Chinook and Amarillo Hops

Each week, over 1,120 gallons of Brew Works food scraps are sent to the Rodale Institute. That’s almost a HALF MILLION pounds each year!

Fegley’s Beer – Blueberry Belch, (1.042 O.G., 10 IBU, 4.2% ABV)
This fruit ale is unfiltered leaving a full fresh Blueberry flavor – brewed with over 150 lbs. of blueberries for a tart and refreshing thirst quencher
Dessert – Blueberry Tarts with Fresh Whipped Cream

Fegley’s Beer – Arctic Alchemy, (1.120 O.G., 12% ABV)
Made from a 158 year old recipe. This Arctic Ale was originally brewed by commission of her majesty queen Victoria – this special beer is mahogany in color, has a caramel and toasty sweet malt flavor and earthy hop tones.
Cigar – 5 Vegas Gold (Flavorful Creamy Mild Cigar)
