Join Star of the Day for the first Spotlight Cabaret of 2013: A Little Bit of Everything!
It’s the first all-male featured production where the music you will hear will span every kind of genre, from the Beatles to Broadway, and from Country to Rhythm and Blues! You’re sure to hear your favorite style from some of our favorite performers, or maybe from a new voice!
Performers:
Doug Ace – A brand new addition to the Spotlight Cabaret. Doug recently played Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie at Pennsylvania Playhouse. He will be performing the new show Shake, Rattle & Roll with Star of the Day all over the Lehigh Valley. Doug is now the Operations Manager for the Star of the Day Event Productions team.
Jonas Bloomfield – A senior at Parkland High School, Jonas plans to major in acting at DeSales University where he was recently accepted. His dream job is to perform on Saturday Night Live, and he Loves Star Wars! This will be Jonas’ debut performance with Star of the Day Spotlight Cabaret.
Nathan Chipman – Nathan is a familiar face in the LV theatre scene, having done a total of nine productions throughout the years. Some of his favorite credits include The Scarlet Pimpernel, Over Here!, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Grey Gardens. Nathan will also be performing the new show Shake, Rattle & Roll with Star of the Day all over the Lehigh Valley.
Brian McKay – A regular at the Spotlight Cabaret, Brian’s big, powerful voice returns this month to help us kick off the New Year. He has spent more than 23 years in the radio business. Currently, he’s an on-air personality at 92.5 WXTU in Philadelphia. He is also a talented voice-over actor. Brian will be starring in his own one-man show in February 2013 in Philly.
Keith Moser – A local celebrity, Keith has appeared on almost every stage in the Lehigh Valley including PA Playhouse, MUNOPCO, Civic Theatre, Allentown Public Theatre and more. He is also a member of the local improv group Associated Mess. This cabaret will be Keith’s debut performance with Star of the Day Spotlight Cabaret.
Peter Sikalias – Peter is returning to the Spotlight Cabaret after singing with the group at the Emmaus Community Park Arts Pavilion Songs of Summer concert in August 2012. He is a performer at many theaters throughout the Lehigh Valley and is a theater director and choreographer for Salisbury High School’s drama department.
Accompanist: Oli Blatt – Oli toured the country as the piano player for many Broadway tours including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He is one of the owners at Pines Dinner Theatre in Allentown and lends his talented fingers several times a year to the Star of the Day Spotlight Cabaret. Oli is a talented vocalist and composer.

About…
Every 1st Thursday, Star of the Day’s Cabaret Productions, the Lehigh Valley’s only showcase of its kind, presents Spotlight Cabaret and Piano Bar! The lights shine in High Gravity for some of the best theatrical talent in the Valley. They’ll be performing Cabaret style songs for your pleasure from 8pm-9:30pm and then stepping aside to allow for an open piano bar where audience members take the stage to sing standards and show tunes.
There will be no show on July 4, 2013
Doors open at 7:00 pm for dinner, 7:30 pm for pre-show drinks. $8 cash admission for adults, $5 for students/seniors.
Audience members are encouraged to bring their own music or sing from our books.
