Comic & Trivia Host Steven Bost
An annual tradition that began in 2010 marches on, as the Lehigh Valley comedy scene comes together to roast another easy target—comedian Steven Bost.
Bost’s comedy career was born in 2008, breaching into the comedy world just as Tickle Me Tuesdays was first establishing a bi-weekly stand-up showcase at the Allentown Brew Works. Since then, he has abused microphones and audiences in shows and open mics throughout the region from New York to Philadelphia, and now co-produces the Tickle Me Tuesday showcase. As if that hadn’t earned him enough enemies, he regularly makes people feel stupid at Wednesdays’ Steel Trap Trivia (Steelgaarden) and Thursdays’ SmartsQuest Film & Music Trivia (SteelStacks). At 8pm on July 8th in the Allentown Brew Works’ High Gravity Lounge, Bost will get to sit in a comfortable armchair as the funny friends who know him best heap on the abuse, in the tradition of the Dean Martin and Comedy Central roasts, only with a lot less Jeffrey Ross. Plus it’s live!
