Philadelphia Field House
You read that right, and here’s how it works:
Josh Bushey, Fegley’s beloved brewer, is up for the chance to head over to the renowned Brourwerij Dilewyns in Belgium. On December 21st at the Philly Field house, a raffle is going to be drawn and if Josh gets picked he gets to go!
And here’s the interesting part…
If the ticket picked was the ticket you bought, you get to go as well!!!!
This event is being sponsored by Philly Beer Week as a precursor to the festivities. You can go to their webpage HERE to purchase your tickets and see all the information regarding this exciting opportunity.
We know that the prize to Belgium is king, but there are some other awesome prizes that will be given away. We’ll give you details on those as they roll in.
NOTE: you do not have to be in attendance at the raffle. If they pull your ticket and you aren’t in attendance you still win!
MORE PRIZES HAVE BEEN ADDED:
- An expenses-paid Pub Crawl with Joe Sixpack for 2. Your own, chauffered trip to the city’s best bars.
- A full case of our 2014 collaborative beer
- Plus… brewery schwag, restaurant gift cards and more.
These prizes will be awarded in addition to the grand prize, an expenses-paid trip with your favorite local brewer, to Belgium’s Brourwerij Dilewyns. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to brew Philly Beer Week’s next, great Belgo Collab with Anne Catherine Dilewyns, the youngest female brewer in Belgium.
The Brourwerij Dilewyns and Belgium
For four years now, Philly Beer Week has been sponsoring this raffle. Each year the winning brewer and their supporter are shipped free of charge to Belgium. Once there, they head to the Brourwerij Dilewyns where a collaboration is born. Last year Weyerbacher created their own Manneken-Penn, which was featured during Philly Beer Week.
Don’t worry though, you won’t be spending all your time in a brewery (but that wouldn’t be so bad…). You’ll have plenty of time to wander about enjoying yourself in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. This is truly a unique and awesome opportunity. We hope you support this awesome endeavor and buy yourself a nice chunk of tickets. We know Josh is excited. In fact, this is the most excited many of us have ever seen Josh.Prize winner must provide positive identification to confirm receipt of the prize, and furnish either a valid Social Security or federal tax identification number, as required by the Internal Revenue Service, for Form 1099. The winner is solely responsible for personal income taxes, if any, generated by the winning of this raffle. Members of the Philly Beer Week Inc. board of directors and members of their direct families are not eligible to win this raffle (except in the case of the brewer who is selected by the raffle grand prize winner).
