Bourbon Barrel Rude Elf and Fall Releases!

IMG_1251Fegley’s Brewery has been busy since the start up of their new boiler – after losing their boiler over the summer to a small fire in the brewhouse basement.

Brew Master Beau and the crew released the long awaited Bourbon Barrel Rude Elf’s Reserve in corked & caged, 750ml bottles at Allentown and Bethlehem Brew Works. Aged for nearly 4 years in bourbon barrels to create a complex set of flavors and aromas. Hints of cherry pie, vanilla and bourbon give add smooth and robust flavor to this holiday favorite. Fegley’s Brew Works Rude Elf’s Reserve is a Great American Beer Festival Bronze Medal winning Belgian Strong Ale. The brew weighs in at 1.088 OG, 10.5% ABV and 20 IBU’s. Other Recent Brewery Releases

Fegley’s Brew Works Urban Achiever American IPA has been released on draft at both Allentown and Bethlehem Brew Works. Urban Achiever is an American IPA with a light body and huge floral aroma. Our brewers use several varieties of hops which include Citra, Simcoe, Centennial, Chinook, and Cascade… “and proud we are of them all”. – 6% ABV, 1.060 OG, 70 IBU

We also just tapped Brett Pale Ale at Allentown and Bethlehem Brew Works. Aged for 6 months, this wild yeast fermented Belgian pale ale has loads of fruity character and just the right amount of funk. – 7.5% ABV, 1.060 OG, 40 IBU

MORE GOOD NEWS… Apocalypse Double IPA has been released on draft at both Allentown and Bethlehem Brew Works. Apocalypse Double IPA was aggressively hopped with Citra, Centennial and Simcoe hops, balanced with just a touch of malt sweetness. Dry hopped with over 88lbs of hops. – 8.8% ABV, 1.088 OG, 100 IBU

And an exclusive tapping at Bethlehem Brew Works… Fegley’s Richter’s Red IPA. A deep red, West Coast style IPA with aggressive hopping and a clean malt finish. Brewed and dry hopped with Pacific Northwest hops which contribute to the citrus aroma. This beer is an “11 on the Richter scale”. – 5.2% ABV, 1.053 OG, 70 IBU
